Medjugorje – Mir’ is the homepage for a group of Catholics who made the pilgrimage to Medjugorje in Bosnia-Herzegovina, which, for the past 34 years, has been the site of regular apparitions by Our Lady Queen of Peace.

The thirty-strong group came together on August 1st 2005, at the beginning of Medjugorje’s “Mladi Fest” (Youth Festival). All were part of the same tour group, lead by Marijana the wonderful local tour guide, and although when they arrived they were total strangers, by the end of the week all were good friends, and some have remained in contact with each other via e-mail.

Since my son first made this website in August 2005 I have returned to Medjugorje  six times and I thank God for the gift of visiting there so often

Mary, Immaculate Virgin, take me under your special protection and guard the purity of my soul, heart and body. You are the model and star of my life

 St. FaustinaYou expired Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls and an OCEAN OF MERCY opened up for the whole world. O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us.” “O Blood and Water which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of Mercy for us, I trust in You”

St. Anthony wrote the following prayer in honour of our Blessed Mother: “We ask you, Our Lady, Mother of God, exalted above the choirs of angels, that you fill the vessel of our hearts with grace; that you make it resolute with the power of your virtue; that you adorn it with the precious stones of virtue.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, we fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, our Mother, to thee we come, before thee we stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not our petitions, but in thy clemency hear and answer them.

Prayer to Saint Michael the Archangel

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host —
by the Divine Power of God —
cast into hell satan and all the evil spirits
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.
